Hey guys! If you're wondering who this is, it's Zoe previously known from Fashionlei Styled, but it's time for a change. Don't get me wrong, I loved and still love that title but lately I haven't really been feeling connected to it, which to me is a problem. I think it's extremely important for your blog title to have a special meaning to you because it's what people know you for. I've been spending the past weeks contemplating on whether I wanted to change the title of my blog since I know it can be risky, but I feel like it's the right thing to do.

Throughout this past year of blogging and making videos for Youtube, I've started to find this new confidence within me that's giving me the strength to express my own style. If you were to ask me how I would categorize my style, I would say it's 'eclectic' because it changes every single day based upon my inspiration or how I'm feeling when I wake up that morning. I think that's what fashion is all about, expressing how you feel or how you want to present yourself through an outfit. In fashion, you want take risks to be noticed, but it's important to be comfortable and to feel good in the clothes that you wear. That right there is the true meaning behind Dress to Express. You can't let others' opinions hold you back from showing the world who you are. My goal in changing this blog's title is to be able to inspire you guys by showing how you can put together almost anything to feel good and look good.

Now that you all understand why I've changed the blog name (and layout), I hope we can continue to grow all together! (: I hope you're enjoying your summer!
xoxo, Zoe.

First off, I apologize for the ridiculously cheesy 'Notebook' title, but I had just watched the movie in Art  class yesterday and the quote just fit so perfectly with the dress I was wearing today! Anyways, I'm almost of out school, just one more day of finals, THANK GOD! I'm so psyched to be a Senior, Junior year was a rough one, not to mention Summer vacation! Whooo! :) Hope you're all enjoying this amazing weather!

Fun Fact: I actually got eaten alive by mosquitos while shooting this outfit. Literally, I was dancing in between taking each photo to avoid the mosquitos biting my legs (which they still did). :/ The one thing I dislike about the summertime, being covered head-to-toe in bug bites.

Last friday (the 31st) was my first Prom. The week before was incredibly stressful with tests and quizzes, so Prom was a nice relaxer after all the suffering leading up to it. Pre-prom was incredibly stressful since I had under an hour to do my hair and makeup, as well as two of my other friend's hair and makeup and my 'date' ended up arriving up while I was still getting ready. But the dance itself was pretty fun, our venue has a nice balcony out to the ocean, which was amazing since it was like 90 degrees that night.  Anyways, I only have two more weeks of school, let the countdown begin!
